Job Responsibilities
- Create and implement complex quality engineering strategies to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of testing processes across multiple teams and projects.
- Develop and maintain testing scopes and strategies for complex projects to ensure comprehensive coverage and high-quality outcomes. Identify areas of improvement and implement innovative solutions to enhance quality engineering practices.
- Engage in product design reviews to ensure system testability and overall product quality. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to provide input and feedback on product design and architecture.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead, mentor, and manage a team of quality engineers. Guide the team in making strategic decisions and developing effective testing solutions. Foster a collaborative environment to drive team performance and development.
- Engage with multiple teams to make key decisions on quality engineering practices and testing strategies. Provide solutions to problems not just for your immediate team but across multiple teams within the organization.
- Utilize your expertise in Test Management and Quality Engineering Strategy and Planning to develop, implement, and optimize automation solutions for testing processes.
- Establish and track quality metrics to measure the effectiveness of testing processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members to enhance their technical skills, testing knowledge, and overall performance.
- Keep abreast of the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies in quality engineering and testing. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to maintain the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Experience requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in test management, quality engineering, or a similar role.
- Strong expertise in designing and developing quality engineering strategies and solutions.
- Advanced knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.
- Ability to stay updated with industry trends and apply innovative approaches to improve testing practices.
