About the Company
Our client is a company who provide wholesome and nutritious dairy products that enhance the well-being of consumers. "Credit Control Manager" oversees the customer credit process, ensuring consistent policy application and conducting periodic reviews. They assess the creditworthiness of potential customers to balance sales and minimize bad debt losses.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain credit control policies and procedures.
- Create a credit scoring model and manage customer credit limits.
- Chase overdue invoices via phone, email, and letters.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and TFRS.
- Monitor credit granting, periodic reviews, and customer deductions.
- Meet cash and DSO targets; recommend invoicing improvements.
- Provide credit support across business sectors; assist with escalations.
- Collaborate with IT for system improvements; support automation efforts.
- Generate ad-hoc reports as needed.
- Process daily cash receipts, GL posting, and bank reconciliations.
- Provide weekly cash forecasts by customer.
- Lead a team and ensuring motivation and performance metrics are met.
- Facilitate ongoing training for credit and accounts receivable staff.
- Manage inter-departmental relations, especially with sales.
Experience requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field.
- At least 7 years of working experience in managing receivable & credit control function.
- If has working experience from multi-national or FMCG companies would be an advantage.
- Experience in SAP system is an advantage.
- Knowledge of legislation relating to Credit Management.
