They are seeking for an experienced and driven Retail and Sales Operations Manager to oversee commercial activities, strengthen client relationships, and lead sales and training teams to achieve ambitious growth targets. Reporting directly to the GM, this role plays a pivotal part in driving business development through strategic sales and marketing initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Retail Marketing:

  • Lead sales performance initiatives, identify growth opportunities, and develop strategies to increase sales and market share.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to shape unique selling propositions, collaborating closely with marketing to maximize visibility.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive sales reports (weekly, monthly, yearly) with actionable insights.
  • Monitor and optimize commission and incentive processes to drive performance.

Retail Marketing Activation:

  • Develop and execute retail marketing strategies to boost store traffic and sales.
  • Foster strong relationships with retail partners and secure promotional support for campaigns.
  • Collaborate on in-store marketing initiatives to enhance brand presence and customer engagement.

Operational Management:

  • Manage sales operations resources to achieve internal gross margin goals and streamline processes.
  • Coordinate with retail marketing managers to conduct audits, ensure smooth sales and training operations, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Marketing on effective campaigns that align with brand strategies and boost recruitment efforts.

Inventory & Merchandising Management:

  • Ensure optimal stock levels and effective merchandising in boutiques, applying first-in, first-out stock management policies.
  • Manage sales forecasting and order fulfillment by working with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee merchandising standards, ensuring clean, well-presented boutiques that meet brand guidelines.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales and training teams to meet sales targets.
  • Oversee the recruitment, assessment, and career progression of retail staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Implement and reinforce company policies, resolving conflicts and maintaining high morale.

Training & Education:

  • Design and manage training programs to enhance product knowledge, cross-selling skills, and customer service.
  • Integrate brand campaigns and promotional strategies into training, collaborating with Marketing and store leadership to address team needs.
  • Track training impact, measuring learning outcomes and impact on sales and customer satisfaction.


Experience requirements

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
  • Experience: 7-10 years in retail management, ideally in beauty, cosmetics, or skincare.
  • Skills: Proficient in MS Office, with strong analytical, strategic, and project management skills.
  • Language: Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
  • Mindset: Strategic thinker with a creative, proactive approach.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational skills with a focus on systematic, disciplined work.
  • Transport: Must have own vehicle; travel as needed.
