Job Responsibilities
1. Sourcing Strategy
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies that ensure quality standards for parts and products.
- Lead sourcing, negotiations, and category management to align with business needs.
- Conduct risk assessments, cost analyses, and market intelligence updates for each product category.
- Establish and enforce purchasing policies and compliance requirements.
- Perform supplier evaluations and work with stakeholders to meet strict performance standards.
2. Material Planning
- Create accurate demand forecasts that align with sales trends and seasonality.
- Coordinate with sales, marketing, finance, and operations to forecast business needs.
- Partner with sourcing teams to engage with parts dealers and suppliers.
- Design long-term demand planning strategies to support growth and propose initiatives to improve accuracy and efficiency in forecasting.
3. Inventory Management
- Ensure optimal stock levels across branches to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
- Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to manage inventory.
- Analyze inventory data to optimize stock levels and minimize costs.
4. Supplier Management
- Identify, assess, and onboard suppliers for parts and services.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships, managing performance on cost, quality, and delivery.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing terms to secure favorable agreements.
- Oversee sourcing activities to ensure compliance with company policies and timelines for new business growth.
5. Project Management
- Prepare and deliver reports on sourcing performance, cost savings, and project updates to senior management.
- Lead sourcing efforts for large-scale projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and risks, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
6. Collaboration
- Partner with cross-functional teams to qualify new products and suppliers, maintaining quality throughout the product lifecycle.
- Work with branch managers, operations, and suppliers to address location-specific demand and operational needs.
- Communicate consistently with logistics and warehouse teams for smooth supply chain operations.
- Collaborate with finance to track and control supply chain costs, ensuring alignment with budget goals.
Experience requirements
- Minimum 5-7 years of working experience in Industrial Machinery and Construction Equipment or related industries
- Familiarity with logistics and distribution operations.
- Experience in Demand planning, Sourcing Strategy and Inventory management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. (Thai & English)
- Able to travel occasionally
