About the Company
Our client, a leading Multinational Corporation seeks a visionary and results-oriented Managing Director to lead their large-scale injection manufacturing in Thailand. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction and hands-on operational excellence of the plant. You will play a key role in driving the plant's growth, profitability and alignment with the global strategy.
Job Responsibilities
1. Operations Leadership
- Ensure production runs efficiently, meeting targets with minimal waste.
- Enhance high-quality standards in every area of the business.
- Support engineering teams to improve processes and roll out new products on time.
- Keep production schedules on track and aligned with customer needs.
- Oversee the movement of goods and materials, ensuring everything flows smoothly from the factory to customers.
2. Functional Oversight
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and make the most of BOI incentives.
- Promote safety and quality improvements throughout the business.
- Streamline purchasing processes to control costs and get the best value from suppliers.
- Make sure the company’s IT systems support daily operations and future growth.
- Build a strong team by hiring the right people, supporting their development, and creating a positive work environment.
- Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure the company remains profitable.
3. Strategic Leadership
- Plan and implement strategies to grow the business and improve efficiency.
- Identify areas to cut costs, increase revenue or improve operations.
- Set clear goals for every department and track progress regularly.
4. Stakeholder Engagement
- Represent the company in dealings with customers, suppliers and investors.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with both internal teams and external partners.
5. Team Leadership
- Motivate and guide department heads and their teams to achieve company goals.
- Strong a workplace culture of innovation, teamwork and accountability.
- Coach and mentor leaders to help them grow and succeed in their roles.
Experience requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
- At least 10–15 years in managerial roles, ideally within injection manufacturing or related industries.
- Experience in industries adhering to IATF 16949, ISO 9001 ,ISO 14001, ISO 45001
- Strong business acumen, particularly in production, quality and logistics management.
- Deep understanding of regulatory and quality standards, particularly for automotive and electronics industries.
- Fluent in English and Thai
