Quality Assurance section Head (Plastic cap)

Our client is a prominent manufacturer and distributor specializing in crown, pilfer-proof, plastic, and composite caps, which are used as seals for bottles and containers across various products such as carbonated drinks, beer, soda, and medical supplies. Additionally, they offer metal sheet printing services and supply handheld capping machines and Maxi cap sealing machines.

• Oversee and execute quality assurance activities, including test planning, ensuring all tasks are carried out effectively.
• Develop, review, and update procedures, test instructions, and records; manage the maintenance, verification, and calibration of lab equipment, ensuring optimal use of time and resources.
• Track and report daily and monthly quality performance, analyzing test results and application effectiveness using statistical data.
• Provide recommendations and collaborate closely with manufacturing and M&S teams when defects or negative trends are identified.
• Address and provide solutions for quality issues, customer complaints, and support troubleshooting efforts.
• Ensure adherence to quality assurance standards and regulatory compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

·      5-7 years of experience in Quality Control / Quality assurance or related field

·      Knowledge in plastic/polymer/packaging would be an advantage

·      Experience in team leader role

·      Have project management skill

·      Able to communicate English

·      Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Science, Chemical Engineering or related field
