About the Company

Our client is a prominent manufacturer of machined components with a strong presence across the Asia region, and a proven record of collaboration with top global technology companies. They are seeking an FP&A Senior Manager who will play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy and operational efficiency.


Job Responsibilities
  • Perform all cost accounting activities, including standard cost development, intercompany transfer pricing, margin analysis, inventory control, and variance analysis.
  • Review and analyze manufacturing expenses to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of transactions.
  • Analyze variances between actual results and standard costs, with an emphasis on detecting variances and providing comments to the Financial Controller, GM, and Management Team.
  • Prepare cost of products, including material costs, wages, and overhead costs for plants.
  • Prepare rolling forecasts by providing analysis of volume and cost to improve product margins by plant and for the total company.
  • Prepare monthly P&L statements by plant to support the GM and Management Team in driving actions to improve product margins.
  • Prepare cost estimates for new products.
  • Participate in internal and external audits related to statutory financial reports and other matters.
  • Responsible for inventory management, including checking and controlling inventory movement, ensuring correct charges, and conducting physical counts.
  • Provide necessary accounting support and reports to the Financial Controller and other departments in developing account and budget policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with local Supply Chain and Purchasing to optimize inventory levels and manage obsolescence.
  • Control the Capex Budget and initiate Capex requests for management approval.
  • Provide daily leadership, coaching, and development to team members.
Experience requirements
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with a strong preference for candidates who have experience in the manufacturing sector.
  • Experience in budgeting and budget planning, including the development of annual budgets, forecasting and variance analysis, financial reporting, and financial management.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP or ERP systems is required.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to accuracy, and excellent organization and planning capabilities.
Education requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
