About the Company
Head of HR will lead the transformation of the HR function during a major organizational restructuring. This role requires a strategic and hands-on leader to build a functional-based HR structure, balancing operational efficiency and strategic workforce planning.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the transition from a factory-based to a functional-based HR structure, ensuring smooth organizational change.
- Align HR strategy with business objectives, focusing on workforce planning and talent development.
- Advise C-level executives on HR strategy, policies, and best practices.
- Design and implement a new HR operating model, balancing operational and strategic functions.
- Optimize HR processes for efficiency, compliance, and workforce productivity.
- Drive employee engagement and culture integration post-merger.
- Develop and enforce HR policies, compensation structures, and governance frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, union agreements, and industry regulations.
- Manage HR budgets and optimize workforce costs.
- Lead labor relations, including union negotiations, grievance resolution, and compliance.
- Engage with union representatives to maintain industrial harmony.
Experience requirements
- 15+ years of HR leadership experience in large-scale manufacturing environments with unionized workforces.
- Proven expertise in labor relations, collective bargaining, and union negotiations.
- Strong experience in HR strategy, workforce planning, and compliance with labor laws.
- Experience handling organizational restructuring, mergers, and transformation projects.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex, and highly regulated environment.
- Familiarity with HRIS, workforce analytics, and modern HR technology solutions.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
