Our client, a leading retail business, is seeking an AVP of Talent Acquisition to drive and manage large-scale recruitment operations. This role will lead the recruitment team, develop strategic talent acquisition plans, and ensure efficient hiring processes to support the company’s growth and expansion. Ideal candidates will have extensive leadership experience in retail recruitment and a data-driven approach to talent strategies.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with the company’s growth plans and retail expansion.
  • Forecast staffing needs based on business growth, seasonal trends, and market conditions.
  • Lead and manage the recruitment team, overseeing both corporate and store-level hiring across a network of various branches nationwide.
  • Oversee the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and ethical hiring practices.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand hiring needs and align recruitment strategies with business objectives.
  • Enhance the company’s employer brand to attract top talent.
  • Implement initiatives to ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Utilize recruitment analytics and metrics to assess the effectiveness of sourcing strategies and recruitment campaigns.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to leadership on recruitment KPIs and market trends.
  • Continuously improve recruitment processes to enhance efficiency and candidate quality.
Experience requirements
  • 10 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, with a leadership role within the retail industry.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale recruitment operations for multi-branch organizations.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, employment laws, and HR technology.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
