Job Responsibilities
- Completing all phases of project lighting design, starting from the original conception to final phases
- Directing and reviewing the work of Junior Lighting Designers
- Coordinate with both internal / external project teams.
- Oversee the documentation of the lighting design via CAD layouts, lighting details, light fixture schedules, lighting control specifications
- Prepare presentations to clients
- Attend client and design team meetings if needed
Experience requirements
- Degree in Lighting Design and a related architectural degree is required
- Minimum of 5 or 6 years of work experience with an understanding in lighting design across architectural, interior and landscape design projects (autonomous running the projects full process from Concept to Commissioning).
- Ability to direct and lead staff and crew in lighting projects
- Time management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects
- Good command of spoken and written English. Able to communicate and correspond in English.
