Formulate and execute legal strategies in alignment with the company’s business goals.
Advise the board, executive leadership, and key stakeholders on legal and regulatory issues.
Oversee compliance with industry regulations and uphold corporate governance standards.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and internal policies.
Ensure legal documentation supports corporate objectives and minimizes risk exposure.
Handle and resolve legal disputes, including managing litigation and arbitration processes.
Coordinate with external legal counsel for effective management of legal proceedings.
Collaborate with regulatory bodies, external advisors, and industry organizations.
Represent the company in legal and regulatory matters.
Lead, guide, and enhance the capabilities of the Legal team.

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Law is mandatory
10 years of legal experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity, ideally within the insurance or banking/financial services sector.
Demonstrated expertise in insurance law, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and contract negotiation.
Strong understanding of insurance regulations, corporate law, and risk management practices.
Familiarity with both local and international legal frameworks pertinent to the insurance industry.
Outstanding leadership and team management skills.
Superior interpersonal and communication abilities, with a proven capacity to influence and work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
